Bio

 

Connor Duesterbeck was born in 1981 in Russellville, AR. In 2021 she received her BA in Fine Arts at Arkansas Tech University. In 2023 she received her MA in Liberal Arts with an emphasis on Fine Art. Duesterbeck has been included in various important exhibitions. Nationally this includes: Webster Arts 2022 Open Theme Annual at Webster Arts, Webster Grove, MO, Extinction: Save the Planet 2021, Gallerium Art, Ontario, CA, Webster Arts 2021 Open Theme Annual at Webster Arts, Webster Grove, MO, and Valdosta National 2020 at Dedo Maranville Fine Arts Gallery, Valdosta, GA. Locally this includes: 2022 Endangered, solo show; River Valley Art Center, Russellville, AR, Stop and Stare Senior Exhibition, Norman Hall Gallery, at Arkansas Tech University, 14th Annual Tech Juried Student Competitive Exhibition, Norman Hall Gallery, Arkansas Tech University, River Valley Arts Center Collegiate Competition at The River Valley Arts Center, where she was awarded 3rd Place, the 13th Annual Tech Juried Student Competitive Exhibition, Norman Hall Gallery, at Arkansas Tech University, and the Diversity Competitive Exhibition at Arkansas Tech University, all located in Russellville, AR. Duesterbeck currently lives and works in Russellville, AR. She teaches Art and English at Arkansas Tech University and owns and operates Serenity Yoga.
